Welcome to Capitano. We are committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains how we handle your data when you join matches organized through our application.
1. Information We Collect
- Account Info: Name, email address, and phone number provided during registration.
- Profile Info: Profile picture, player position, and performance statistics.
- Region Selection: Users manually select their "Governorate" to view local matches.
- Location Data (GPS): The app may request access to precise location data (GPS) exclusively for "authorized users (Admins)" for the purpose of adding or updating stadium locations on the map. Precise location is not tracked for regular users or used for marketing.
- Device Info: Technical details like device model and OS version for performance optimization.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Match Organization: Booking your spot in available matches and coordinating teams.
- Leaderboard: Updating your rank based on match performance and activity.
- Notifications: Sending alerts regarding match status or app updates.
Note: We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
3. Third-Party Services
Capitano uses Firebase for authentication/data storage and Google Maps to display stadium locations accurately.
4. Data Deletion
You have full control. You can delete your account and data via the "Delete Account" option in the App Settings. Upon deletion, your personal information will be permanently removed from our active databases.
